Key Achievements:I improved the understanding of the link between QLS products/services and their related expenses by developing and implementing a restructure of expense coding structure within the business. This involved an βAs Isβ analysis, many fact finding and stakeholder workshops, the creation and implementation of new expense dimensions by reconfiguring three different systems, and training workshops.I am part of the information management team that has been tasked with an organisation wide restructure of how QLS captures, stores, and disseminates information. As an accountant within the Operational Finance team, my role consists of performing the month end close, performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting, payroll accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, FX exposure analysis, asset management, managing the AR function, and inter-company invoicing.Key Achievements-Improved the accounts receivable process by establishing a process based on best practices which included a policy and process documents, created an Access database, initiated standardised Invoicing, and established invoice age reporting. These improvements significantly reduced errors and increased AR recovery.-Developed an Activity Based Costing model that included a process framework, allocation model using Excel, and external time allocation software that efficiently allocated overhead, and resulted in 20% increase in recovery of costs.-Developed and implemented a reorganisation of PNG Operational overhead cost code structure by conducting an βAs Isβ analysis, stakeholder interviews, cost structure rationalisation, developed the policy documentation, and presented the proposal to senior management, which resulted in increased accountability of budgets and better understanding of costs.-Travelled to PNG and completed an audit of the well program inventory that included inventory over 3 field locations and resulted in USD$5 million in findings.-Prepared cash flow reports for management with variances compared to forecast along with monthly and 3 month cash flow forecasts for each currency (AUD, PGK, USD, and EUR), which resulted in more accurate forecasting and increased efficiency of funding reserves.

-Conducted a detailed analysis of the reporting structure for a major project with a budget of over $400 million within the Queensland Government. This consisted of stakeholder workshops, executive level interviews and reporting data analysis from several different data sources. I then developed an interim report outlining the most accurate financial position for the project and made several key recommendations that were taken up by management-Developed a NPV costing model to evaluate the related costs per process for implementing a new ERP and maintained the model with updated costing data as more detailed analysis of the processes included in the ERP were identified-Completed an analysis and reconciliation of a multi-million dollar program spanning seven years which included many individual projects within several different portfolios for a major QLD Government department. I developed and submitted findings report which was used to report the status and future funding needs to Treasury-Developed the functional requirements for an ERP implementation from a Business Process Architecture by facilitating many group workshops and negotiating with stakeholders with each business unit to find the best possible ERP solution for the entire Business Process Architecture-Completed a risk assessment and an evaluation of the current state of the internal controls for the Procure to Pay process. I then researched the best practice for the Procure to Pay function and established the processes, roles and responsibilities, and controls for the Procure to Pay process-Completed an assessment of the current Project Management Office (PMO) and developed processes and procedures to improve the PMO reporting using Prince 2 best process methodologies.-Facilitated workshops with stakeholders from their National Plant Department and completed an analysis of the current state of Resources Asset Management Business Process using Maximo
