I was responsible for developing and overseeing a 5000 square feet, multi-million dollar Startup Incubator project, including lesson planning, staffing, and budgeting. In addition to lessons, PBL and general innovation, staffing and planning for courses, I also work with a team of professionals to provide technical equipment and services to the entire school. My emphasis is on emphasizing innovation, creativity, and teamwork to create digital and physical artifacts that solve problems, convey information, or present artistic and cultural meaning. All our teachers have considerable freedom to innovate in the Incubator. We do focus on some basic philosophies for our work. The philosophies we promote are Project Based Learning, Stanford d. School Design Principle in all our courses. For entrepreneurial students, we focus on the Lean Startup Model, Business Model Canvas, and standard accounting practices.
