· Provide leadership and direction to all store associates and department heads· Responsible for the profitability of the total store. Practices aggressive cost control for all in-store operating,maintenance, and supply costs· Review and analyze P&L statements. Responsible for top line sales, direct labor and other expenses· Ensure proper merchandising of product by understanding and following schematics and merchandising protocol· Plan labor coverage needs for departments based on an analysis of current and projected sales as well as market conditions· Assist in developing the inventory control strategy for departments and participate in quarterly physical inventories
