YingRui is a responsible, vigilant and compassionate nurse with adequate exposures, trainings and clinical experiences in Emergency Nursing. Being a fully competent resus-trained nurse, he attends to patients of different acuity statues ranging from triage room, observation room to resuscitation room. He plays critical roles at the department independently in managing emergencies like trauma collapse, respiratory arrest for intubation, cardiac arrest for resuscitation, stroke activation, ICL (Intensive Cardiac Lab) activation, orthopaedic procedures, infectious diseases management, HAZMAT exercise etc. He is a very helpful team player to the medical team and an empathetic patient advocate.He had 1 year experience as an endoscopy nurse, where he further hones his nursing skills and practices proficiently in phlebotomy, moderate sedation while monitoring hemodynamic stability of patients, attending to code blue activation; and essentially exercises various endoscopic scrub techniques in assisting Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Cystoscopy, Bronchoscopy and ERCP procedures.YingRui is also a disciplined, optimistic and energetic fitness enthusiast, who continuously upgrades his professional knowledge in fitness. He became an ACE certified personal trainer since 2013, and had been taking relevant health and fitness courses to renew his personal training certificate biannually with ACE. He leads by example to train and build an aesthetic body physique despite his work and family commitments. In the Singapore International 2019 competition, he won the Overall Men's Physique Champion title against competitors from SEA region.
