by Galere (sister company of CEI) they asked me to join the BAM group after closing our deal between TNT airport ( Galere and Bolckmans) CEI De Meyer was know as a civil constructor company ( bridges, tunnelling etc ) but the building department had to be enlarged. With the Diabolo, Liefkenshoekspoortunnel, Josaphat tunnel the division infrastructure became more important and the focus of CEI turned too those projects instead of the building department I represented. The synergy between the different BAM partners in Belgium; Interbuild, CEI-De Meyer and BETONAC had to be defined but also a reorganisation would take place.

Bolckmans industrial buildings was well know as a steel structure specialist! after producing for a long periode steelstructures for Bolckmans projects we started our search for new clients; I convinced; CFE Brabant (shopping Nato Headquarter, parlement BXL), BESIX ( Atomium pavilion), GALERE ( TNT hall bierset) (BMW nannine), Franki Construct (VW Audi garage claessens) and many more to work with us. A special thanks for nice collegues and atmosphere at Bolckmans ! I Shall never forget you guys !

Sir Anton Buhler started his distribution company just after the 2 th world war. In the beginning it was only a HAPPICH distributor, to he imported from HAPPICH spare parts for the automotive, mirrors, gassprings, electrical parts, steel parts etc. Mister Jean Jacques Meunier bought this company in the 90 ties and soon decided to produced him self some parts more specificly for : Alstom, Bombardier, Caterpillar, national railway companies, Van Hool, Jonckheere, Fluxys, Electrabel, Sibelgaz, Fabricom and many more. Buhler bought the companies; Doudoux (hinges manufactor) and EMEGA (electrical installation & steel cabines) and the companies became divisions of Meunier group with a new site at Momignies on the french border near Chimay
