In dynamic conditions, the model is integrated into a custom-designed microfluidic chip and connected to pressure-based controllers.Key aspects:• 3D Modeling: Create a physiologically relevant 3D cell model of human adipose tissue.• Process Optimization for Industrialization: Standardize and miniaturize the model to obtain an industrializable process suitable for high-throughput drug screening applications.• Neuro-Humoral Alternation: Integrate the model on a chip allowing multiple culture treatments and cultivate it under microfluidic conditions.• Collaborative Supervision: Co-supervised by Dr Anne BOULOUMIE and Dr Jean GALITZKY at INSERM, with industrial guidance from Dr Mayoura KEOPHIPHATH at DIVA Expertise. -
R&D Engineer | Development Of 3D Human Adipocyte Culture ModelDiva Expertise Aug 2021 - Aug 2022Toulouse, Occitanie, FranceDevelopment of a novel 3D human adipocytes culture model to support long-term functionality and high-throughput applications and of a pathological 3D human fibrotic adipocytes culture model to mimic the fibrosis deletion occurring during chronic obesity (“Award of Clinic Research” at CTPIOD 2022).Key aspects:• 3D Modelling: The mature adipocytes model in healthy condition was designed to enable prolonged culture of mature human unilocular adipocytes over several weeks, while retaining their metabolic and endocrine functions. In contrast, the fibrotic model showed impaired adipocyte functions specific to the pathology of obesity.• Process optimization for industrialization: The models were standardized and miniaturized, enabling the development of an industrializable process suitable for high-throughput drug screening applications.• Cross-functional collaboration: Close collaboration with the “Tests&Studies” team has ensured seamless integration of the models into existing screening platforms, thereby strengthening research capabilities.Secondary tasks: - Representation of DIVA Expertise at cosmetics trade shows (In-Cosmetics, IFSCC, Cosmetic 360, COMET) to exchange with our customers and generate new leads.- Involvement in the development of content marketing. -
