About Leopoldo Zugasti

As a freelancer I've spearheaded the development of a custom web application in ASP.NET/C#, Laravel/PHP, Vue.js, MySQL for the marketing team, providing real-time access to critical data related to Amazon ad campaigns through the Amazon API. Built an API including a complete database design to manage ad campaigns using personalized data for each one of our clients. Lastly, I've overhauled the frontend, transitioning from jQuery to Vue.js. This transition resulted in a more responsive and maintainable user interface.In my previous internship at Unity, I created a visualization tool for synthetic datasets generated within Unity, using C#, Python, and React. This tool allows users to inspect the synthetic data by looking at labeling such as bounding boxes, segmentation, etc. I enjoyed working with a diverse and talented team of developers, designers, and researchers, and learning from their feedback and guidance. Further, in my second internship I integrated ray tracing and path tracing within the perception package to generate synthetic data with improved lighting and graphics for computer vision and machine learning purposes. I also worked on simulated LiDAR sensors within Unity Engine to create synthetic LiDAR data within the scenes.I have strong skills in C++/C#, Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, MySQL and PHP as well as a keen interest in computer graphics and simulation.
