Daily farm duties accompanied with hands on class material provided by highly experienced farm owner as well as other farmers on the island. Consistently setting up twice weekly farm stands, filling restaurant and grocery store orders, and preparing for weekly farmers market.

Teaching pre-K every Sunday morning as part of the religious school program Yamim Yafim

I spent the summer learning through hands on experience the ins and outs of urban agriculture. I also planned and led farming activities for the kids at the day camp.

I worked on the facilities team assisting with day to day farm maintenance, long term small construction projects, and everything in between. I learned a ton of new skills from power tool use to furniture building and even a little bit of soldering.
