Leonardo Savoy is a Founding Partner of Igapó Ventures. He is an experienced investment professional with a proven track record of successfully closing 9 transactions in over half a decade as an investor, advisor, and operator in globally recognized firms. Prior to Igapó, Leonardo was a Growth Investor at Hedosophia, a London-based investment firm, where he sourced and executed deals in Latin America while providing strategic guidance to portfolio companies. Similarly, Leonardo played a key role in spearheading San Francisco-based investment firm Rise Capital’s expansion to Brazil, executing multi-stage deals in the technology sector across Latin America. Before his investment career, as an operator, Leonardo advised on multiple M&A transactions and capital raising rounds for MAR ventures' portfolio companies, a financial services venture builder. During his secondment at the fintech Remessa Online, he led and structured the Strategy & Investor Relations department, playing a pivotal role in securing significant funding rounds and ultimately exiting to EBANX for US$ 229 million.
