Responsible for leading multiple specialized teams. The first and largest team is responsible for the real-time monitor and control of Manitoba Hydro's Bulk Electric System. A dvierse team of System Operators that works together to operate the power system in a safe, efficient and effective mannner. The second team is the Program Development team and is responsible for providing initial and ongoing training for the System Operators and ensuring they remian NERC certified.The third team is the Emergency Operations team that develops and trains System Operators and operation field staff in emergency response plans.And the fourth team is the Network Resoruces team and together they develop the generation and transmission outage plans in order to maximize usage of Manitoba's Hydro assests.

Temporary appointment for one year. I have been leading a specialized department which develops strategy and business plans for efficient, safe, reliable, regulatory compliant utilization of the transmission system that promotes revenue enhancement; manages the business use of the company's high voltage transmission assets, including existing and new transmission service requests; directs and participates in development of and revisions to the Manitoba Hydro open access transmission tariff (OATT), and coordinates with the Midwest Independent System Operator (MISO) OATT; directs and participates in development of and revisions to Manitoba Hydro transmission interconnection agreements, operating agreements, joint-ownership agreements and facility agreements and associated regulatory filings; oversees updating Manitoba Hydro’s open access same time information system (OASIS) and ensures OASIS compliance; directs the administration of transmission-related agreements, including development of rates and charges for transmission service under the OATT; represents the company's interest in regional transmission-related forums such as MISO Transmission Owners, and monitors regulatory filings for potential impacts to Manitoba Hydro.
