• Work with CFO’s and Controllers frequently in order to identify high risk areas for more in depth substantive testing.• Draft financial statements, applying knowledge and experience ensuring full conformity of US GAAP and required audit standards.• Perform analytical analysis of client financial statements including year-over-year fluctuation analysis.• Perform audit procedures on significant management estimates including valuations of goodwill, accounts receivable, and self-insurance reserves. • Read, assess, and evaluate technical accounting updates and industry information and evaluate applicability to clients.• Manage teams to execute the audit plan by assigning tasks, teaching the audit methodology, monitoring progress, reviewing work product, and providing regular feedback.• Create, communicate, and monitor engagement goals and metrics including project timelines and budgets by area for various engagements.• Hold regular meetings with client management to discuss audit progress and communicate findings.
