Develop and coordinate programmes and projects aimed at amplifying the access of SMEs to international markets.

It is important to note that this is a supporting role for the Consul who was a former employee. I am not hired, nor am an employee of the consulate, but rather support, when needed, the consul on attending the needs of the DIT and British companies, the prosperity programme or Chevening in Bahia. My knowledge of the UK, business environment of Bahia allows me to better assist the delegations from the UK and the DIT’s demands with clear information of the major projects and creating bridges with our main stakeholders. I have been doing so on projects of infrastructure, education, scientific cooperation, amongst others.

- Successfully liaising with legislators for matters of public policy of interest to the retail industry, as well as the creation of a parliamentary front to represent SMEs in Bahia and Salvador (state and municipality).- Liaise with partner institutions and develop new strategic partnership according to the major plan (Sebrae-BA, FIEB, ACB, FECOMERCIO-BA, UKTI, British General Consulate, Chamber of Deputies, Municipal Council, etc.);- Representative member in a variety of Councils of the City Hall of Salvador, State Government of Bahia and other (chosen by the President of CDL Salvador – as seen on LinkedIn Profile);- Member of the planning team of the Chamber’s major business projects (retail related in Salvador of Bahia and Bahia);- Advise de President on matters dynamics of economy, surveys, political, et alii. Integrate different areas/departments with pro-active and effective communication;

- Head member of the negotiation team of 2015's budget of Banco do Nordeste in regards to sectors of destination (we successfully defended allocation on 'comércio e serviços') - Internationalisation of MPEs, Development, Management ;- Institutional liaison with CIN/FIEB (International Business Centre network organised by CNI Brazil) and SEBRAE/BA focusing on structuring and developing the Programme of Internationalisation of SMEs of Bahia; - International Missions to EXPOCOMER 2013 (Panama), Euroshop 2014 (Düsseldorf) and Canton Fair 2014/2 (China), and of other sectorial events such as EINNE 2013; - Articulation of programmes of professional qualification of SEBRAE, assisting FCDL’s network all over Bahia; - Counselor at CEPRAM (Conselho Estadual do Meio Ambiente – State Enviromental Council) and at State Government of Bahia Council of the Cities (ConCidades/BA), both representing institutionally FCDL-BA

- Structured and developed the “Encounter of Public Defenders of Brazil” with the theme: ‘Violations of Human Righs of people deprived of liberty’. Responsible for studying how to better architecture it and merge into the idea proposed (includes selection and indication of speakers); - Develop a study of how to present a petition for a specific case for the CIDH/OEA, and its viability.

- Consultancy on personnel’s career plan development, bonus policy and development;- Improvement of customer assistance skills of the team; - Analysis of products that could to have its sales leveraged in order to aggregate more value to each ‘sales ticket’, and how to train the team to better develop these skills.

- Project development for bank presentation (loans), negotiation with suppliers and shop management;- Presented the project for a private investor who ended up investing into the company and allowed us to overcome problems derived from ‘banks strike’ while the loan was still being analysed;- Creation of sheets to organize invoices, payments, debt and create different scenarios for payment strategy (observing the real financial situation of the company);

- Supervision of different work teams for compliance with bylaws and the company’s code of conduct as well as the UK’s data protection act and SIA’s legislation;- Resolution of problems (eventuality of crisis or stressful situation) that may occur. Responsible for all operations of the office;- Participation on events with experience on solving minor conflicts by use of language (correct tone and use of words) and suitable body language, working on backstage and VIP areas in major London events;- Started as a steward and was invited to join the office’s control room staff. UK SIA trained, which included the conflict management and non-verbal modules.

- Projects in Brazil, Spain and Portugal contacting CFOs, CEOs, Chief Auditors of Investment Funds, Directors of Finance. Developed a significant improvement of the numbers of ‘interviews’ completed per day via teamwork initiative.

- Advisory and Management in time of crisis and transition;- Meetings with external consultants aiming assistance on repositioning the company or reselling it.

- New business development., meetings with Bank Directors aiming the creation of an offshore at the Caribbean for one of our clients;- Responsible for the ‘redesign’ of the image of the company (portfolio presentation), and author of the idea ‘Integrated Business Solutions’.

- Development of new internal procedure with the Director of Finance;- Follow, for the Comercial Direcor, the prices of cocoa and coffee at the Commodities Market of London and New York.
