Working in the Factual Team at Comic Relief, who are responsible for the production of appeals content and films, both on BBC TV and through Comic Relief's own channels (eg. online, social media etc.). Acting as the primary point of contact internally for information relating to Comic Relief’s social change strategy and funding portfolio, providing advice, guidance and ensuring accuracy in Comic Relief's factual output. This role also includes the gathering of relevant information to support corporate partners and to assist with securing new partnerships. Recently, I have project-managed the implementation of a new case study and stories database using the Salesforce system.

Providing direct support to the Executive Director of Impact & Investment. Incorporated the bulk of my previous Personal Assistant role but with additions including - responsibility for the co-ordination of bi-monthly Grants Committee meetings; line management of volunteers in the Impact & Investment team and direct contact with key external relationships including Trustees, funding partners, CEOs and senior colleagues of trusts, foundations and other funders.

Provided direct and comprehensive support to the Grants Director and also diary management for the Head of Funding Partnerships. Also involved general support to the wider Grants Senior Management Team.My duties included: Diary management and prioritisation; Inbox management; Maintaining data on the CRM database; Arranging trips including itinerary, hotel/flight bookings and visas.

Duty manager and bar duties at a private members tennis club. Held responsibility for all staff on duty during a shift, served on the bar and assisted on the reception desk - handling membership enquiries and bookings. Keyholder in charge of securing the building at the end of each night.

Held responsibility and oversight of the front of house operation during performances and events. This included handling customer queries and complaints, finding resolution where possible and diffusing conflict where necessary; acting as licensee and first-aider on duty; managing the staff rota in line with available budget and ensuring all were utilised in the most effective way possible; and training of staff through regular team meetings and smaller group sessions, including customer care, assisting with disabled access, manual handling and health and safety.

Welcoming customers into the theatre on arrival for performances and serving behind the busy bars and kiosks; acting as “Senior Host” for the majority of shifts with the added responsibilities of supervising staff, preparation of serving areas, delegation of tasks and overseeing lock-up at the end of each night.
