Contracted to prevent the organization from falling into “Financial Default” with heavy debt levels and pending Bankruptcy. Within the first year, succeeded in bringing hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt to a “Zero” debt balance. Default and bankruptcy proceedings were prevented. The organization achieved full solvency and subsequently merged with a formidable Bronx based, Non-Profit Corporation endowed with an annual operating budget in excess of 150 million dollars.Extra Curricular Activities:*Adjunct Professor of the City University of New York, *President of the New York City Dominican Chamber of Commerce, *Executive Board Member of the New York Yankees Community Benefit Fund Foundation, & * Board Member of the Regional Bronx County Boy Scouts of America.*Recipient of numerous Honorary Proclamations and Recognition Awards for Executive Management Accomplishments and Dedication to Community Service

The Alliance is a multi-service, non-profit, Community Service Organization. It advocated for and provided essential services to underserved, underrepresented and economically challenged families throughout the West Bronx communities. Through grants and program collaboration with federal, NYS and NYC government agencies, Alliance’s services provided included; GED Preparation Assistance, ESL and Financial Literacy Classes, Senior Center Improvement Services, Immigration Assistance, Business Assistance, Bronx Economic Development & Commercial Revitalization Projects.

Recruited to preserve the existence of the Center scheduled for “Decertification”, (Closing). Within 11 months, we upgraded the Medical Center’s Federal Rating from a “Failing E rating“ to a “Very Good B rating”. This rating upgrade ensured the Center’s ongoing Federal and State funding streams preserving the Center’s continued existence allowing for potential future Center expansion.

Under contract with the Mount Vernon Hospital, redesigned vacant hospital space to develop and open a State-of-Arts, comprehensive Wound Care Medical Center with all requisite Legal, Medical, Nursing, Operational, Administrative and Personnel and OTPS budgets Systems in order.

Promoted from Deputy Executive to Executive Director as we increased the patient service productivity from 147,000 patient visits annually to 153,000 visits while experiencing a concomitant reduction in annual operating budget. This medical center operated with a full time work force of 350 employees and a thirteen million two hundred thousand dollar ($13,200,000) annual operating budget.
