I am a senior at Meredith College majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management.Embracing our differences unites us, each of us bringing unique stories and identities to the table. As a refugee and Person of Color (POC), my distinct perspective has equipped me to approach every situation with professionalism and effectiveness. Through my experiences collaborating with diverse individuals from around the world, I have sharpened my communication skills and adaptability.Currently, I am gaining invaluable experience as a Human Resources Intern at Participate Learning. Here, I assist Ambassador Teachers in navigating benefits-related issues, particularly medical insurance, while supporting the HR team in various functions. Previously, as a Youth Intern at Transplanting Traditions Community Farm, I spearheaded the production of "Audio Bites," a podcast in partnership with the Southern Oral History Program aimed at sharing the narratives of refugee farmers.Looking ahead, my ambition is to establish myself as a distinguished HR and business leader known for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. I aim to apply the knowledge acquired from courses in Training and Development, Staffing, and Compensation and Benefits to make significant contributions to the corporate sector. Additionally, I recently joined the North Carolina Army National Guard as a 36B - Financial Management Technician, bringing a unique perspective shaped by my global and future military experiences to the business world.My ultimate goal is to cultivate environments where every individual feels valued and empowered to excel.Please feel free to reach out and connect with me!
