 Pod clerk after receiving the trip sheets from security, the trip sheets must be sorted according to their cages Driver must be handed the copy trip sheet to enable the delivery The original trip sheet must be handed over by security to a POD clerk to enable matching upon return of the driver from his routes The drivers control sheet for all cages must be printed Match original trip sheet with the copy trip sheet and check if all POD's are valid Unmatched trip sheets must be checked if they are captured or not Unmatched but captured trip sheet are marked as(yes) The clear makes a list of all outstanding POD's and keeps one list in the office the other is placed on the notice board as to notify the drivers of their short POD's POD clerk debrief the driver upon his return to UPD to check that the POD's are valid Hospital/Medical Depots-POD must be stamped and signed and the name, printed date and time filled in All Gauteng public hospitals /Pretoria should have a stamped Annexure A accompanying the POD and state invoices All Limpopo public hospitals /medical depots should have a stamped MGRN accompanying the POD and state invoices Special Trip Sheet-These must be signed by the customer and the driver. These are for special deliveries mostly done by our emergency vehicles All invoices are ticked for the POD to be valid. If only one invoice is ticked the driver must return it to the customer for correction to verify that the customer received parcels
