I joined BDO South Africa in 2022 and currently work as a Senior IS Auditor in the Financial Services Technology team. My role entails both assurance and advisory services.I have completed several training programs in areas like Advisory Internal Audit, General IT controls, ISA 315 (Databases, Operating System, and Network Controls), Crypto, SWIFT, and UK secondment training, which included SAP and regulators such as FRC, PCAOB, and SOX.I am interested in business and IT. My expertise in end-to-end processes enables me to identify and mitigate potential risks to recommend better outcomes for clients in terms of their IT environment.My key areas of specialization include General IT controls across all infrastructure levels, including application, database, network security, and operating systems. This includes understanding the IT environment, identifying key risk areas, testing logical access, computer operations, change management and application controls.
