- Hire department: Calculation and payment of hire due, considering bunkers or deductible items and examination of vessel performance in accordance with ruling CP.- Laytime department: calculating, issuing, supporting and negotiating Laytime calculation and claims with customers.- Freight department: Calculating freight due, issuing invoices and chasing for funds due.

Internship as ship agent at Sogebras.SOGEBRAS, based near the port of Nantes-Saint Nazaire in France, is involved in all aspects of port operations, sea transportation and logistics.The company is specialized in handling heavy cargo and can also act as ship agent, liner agent, customs clearing agent and can provide capacities of storage.My internship took place in the ship agent service, learning to manage ship's call and understand requirement of this job.
