Designed for 27” touch screens. Since the team was a Java team, it was built using Google Web Toolkit (GWT). • Built an application to display process information on large screen monitors in the factory. Implemented the ability to interact with the information using hand gestures. The was to allow interaction while suited up in a clean room. Used LEAP infrared technology.• eTraveler was a tablet application giving factory operators Just-In-Time information. Provided focused information based on who they are, where they are in the factory and what they are working on. Experimented with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) as a way to do authentication via proximity, eliminating the need for constant manual login.• Experiment Tracking System (ETS) transformed a large Swing application into an Angular application providing a much leaner and more focused user experience.• As part ETS, built an interactive wafer model using Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) manipulated with D3JS and communicating with Angular objects. • Worked with users and Subject Matter Experts to discover and design a better User Experience (UX) improving user efficiency and satisfaction.• Mentored other developers on the best practices surrounding User Experience (UX).• Mentored the team (of about 30 international developers) using Angular, Sass, HTML5, CSS3 and Material Design.• Worked with a team using agile methodologies, specifically Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

MedNet wanted a Proof of Concept (POC) application demonstrating how to move their Php applications into a micro-services stack. After analyzing their needs, built a POC using SpringBoot. Built separate micro-services for Patients (from their domain), Authentication and an API gateway providing access to all current and subsequent micro-services. Connected the POC to their development database. Used JSON Web Tokens (JWT) to manage authentication and authorization throughout the conversation lifecycle.
