Responsible for the management, operation and financial performance of $60 million dollars of research and development grants for advance materials for lithium batteries and fuel cells. • Managed a staff of 35 engineers and scientists and administrative personnel. Controlled business development activity, financial management, materials production, and contract management for twelve government and commercial customers. • Managed the commercialization effort for prototyping and battery development for consumer and military markets. These efforts lead to the sale of the company to A123 Systems.

Responsible for the management and implementation of company policy and procedures for Human Resource support for 1000 employees and 70 clients. • Lead consultant for the company consulting practice designed to help small to medium size company with corporate structure, operations and employee management. Responsible for the management of 50 million dollars annually of payroll, healthcare, retirement plans and employee benefits. Responsible for all company statistical analysis and process implementation.
