My Career Story I am a Highly motivated results driven professional with 20+ years of experience in the Albertsons/Safeway Organization, 33 years total retail experience, with a focus on growing sales, profits, and market share. My practical job experience over the years within Albertsons/Safeway companies have enabled me to shape a foundation to problem solve, build meaningful relationships, and leverage innovative approaches to the business. While I understand that the retail grocery channel is ever-changing, there are core principles in base pricing, promotional activity, assortment optimization, and schematic building that I have learned within my career on the Marketing and Merchandising Denver team, that positions me for future successes. After spending the previous 8+ years as a division Department Specialist learning and understanding the marketing and pricing side of our business, I have advanced my knowledge of many systems and categories for our ever-changing go to market pricing and advertising plan. My position has enabled me to foster relationships with our national team, division teams, local and national suppliers.Having grown up in Northern Colorado (with several of my family members working in grocery), I am no stranger to the Colorado grocery market, and I have a profound respect for the effort it takes to be a success in execution of plans to our divisions and retail locations.
