They offer personal loan products NOW Retail and NOW finance brands to SMEs and the brokerage sector across Australia.Director/Business Development Manager October 2012 – March 2014Part of the establishment team that included the CEO and CFO. Contributed to the initial structural, product development and sales strategy planning and implementation. Contributed to the decision to utilise a two-stage strategy to pilot the product in the retail sector, followed by an expansion into the brokerage sector. Led and managed all of the business development activities including sales forecasting, budgetary control, and recruiting, training and mentoring the sales team.

Established the business form the ground up. Managed all aspects of the business including sales, marketing, staff and financial management. • Grew the business from small writings of $100 - $200k per month to achieve a lending value in excess of $3M per month, employing six staff and achieving an annual net profit of $700K. • Opened a second office in Mornington, establishing the operation from scratch and building the local business by offering a highly personalised and tailored sales and customer service strategy.• Tendered against eight other major contenders in a highly competitive market to obtain a lease at the Melbourne Care Supermarket. This move enabled dramatic business growth due to the increased business exposure. • Achieved business success through maintaining a very high level of integrity, professionalism and a commitment to a “Total Honesty Policy”. This approach facilitated customer trust and commitment and established a very high level of respect within the industry. • Business became so successful that it attracted the attention of Australia’s second largest consumer brokerage company, National Finance Choice, which eventually negotiated a partial buy-out of the company in 2005.• Sold remaining share of the business in 2009. The business is still operating today as National Finance and Loans.
