The Los Angeles/Orange County Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier is an organization made up of professional women involved in the food, beverage and hospitality industries.OUR MISSIONLes Dames d’Escoffier International is composed of more than 2,400 members in 42 chapters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Mexico – is highly diversified and reflects the multifaceted fields of contemporary gastronomy and hospitality. OUR VISIONLDEI's organization of women leaders create a supportive culture in their communities to achieve excellence in our related fields. We strive to promote high standards in the supply, preparation and service of food, wine and other beverages; mentor and network with fellow members; and raise funds year-round for culinary scholarships and other worthy causes.The by-invitation-only membership includes Dames who have been working in their fields for at least five years, including food and restaurant publicists, chefs, caterers, winemakers, restaurant owners, cooking-school teachers, writers and bloggers.
