Bing is a unique mailing service in the Australian marketplace. Being a small company, the role is varied.My ‘title’ role is pre-sales, encompassing consultancy, process design and integration, customer activation & training, technical (& sales) presentations to all levels. Internally I assist with RFI/RFP responses, and hold product training for sales and customer service staff, as the product is in constant development. main role is as technical champion. I also operate within customer service as a product champion provide and 2nd level technical support. I’m also involved in product development as a panel member. I provide account management to more complex accounts. I have some direct sales (circa $130k to date) resulting from identification of new opportunities, and application of new product offerings, from within the existing customer base.I’m also responsible for documentation & development of both external and internal training materials.

Initially engaged in a consultancy role. Established their print operation, then assisted in recruiting and training. Subsequently contracted for document design and logic, print management, data transfer to print. Converted print operation from metacode to PostScript, print file delivery from mag tape to a Unix-based print management system. Also established and managed a new email marketing product.

Responsible for technical management of existing print operations, identification of new business from the existing customer base via Service Delivery education, and solution design. Gained some experience in project management and implementation.

Contracted to Sydney Electricity as a process and forms design consultant, responsible for migration of legacy print documents (customer letters and statements) to cut-sheet laser. Undertook rationalisation of pre-printed forms, reducing forms requirements by 90%, resulting in significant reduction in print & storage costs. Worked closely with the billing team to enhance customer communications further by designing innovative, clear one-to-one customer statements, resulting in greatly decreased bill payment turnaround and customer billing enquiries.Conducted various in-house technical and product training courses for Fuji Xerox Australia.From a start-up in contracting, established an electronic print consultancy and brokerage of digital print providers’ excess capacity, both through marketing and raising my profile via user group presentations.
