NOTE FROM FAMILY: Les Hunter passed away on Oct 19, 2015.I have worked in the Global IT industry for more than 35 years. This practical and real world experience has enabled me to acquire a wide range of business, technical and management skills, completing my experience in Data Center, Security and Network Management.After joining Hewlett-Packard as Region Network Analyst in Australia 1989, I successfully managed the development and roll-out of projects throughout Asia Pacific, including Secure Remote Access solutions, Business Partner Integration capabilities, and Risk Management Consultancy Services for HP business. Currently I am part of a small team responsible for the support of Network Security devices, primarily in the Americas but also WW.Before taking this position, I was WW Public Sector Offering manager for Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Messaging and Collaboration. In this role, I successfully led the roll out of ECS Messaging for a major Public Sector client. I relied upon his in-depth knowledge of project management and my ability to collaborate with external teams to make this a success. I have also been responsible for the development of Managed Network Security Services for HP’s customers, with the objective of providing a network environment that is secure and integrated with security management and network management at all levels. This is my true passion.
