* Contracted by Precision Drilling Services Group as the Project Manager in Algeria for the three well underbalanced drilling contract that Northland Energy were awarded by BHP Billiton for their Ohanet Gas Development Field in southeast Algeria.

* Was recruited by Tesco Corporation in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to act as the Algerian Country Manager on their recently signed contract with Sonatrach. This contract included services for top-drive, underbalance drilling, and casing drilling services. In this position, I reported directly to the Vice President of International Services, based in Houston, Texas. The task included, but was not limited to, sourcing equipment and having it modified for desert operation, shipping equipment, registering Tesco in Algeria, both financially and legally, recruiting personnel from within Tesco, as well as outside Tesco. Also conducted meetings with Sonatrach leading to a better working relationship, and developed good working relationship with the agent. Duties in Algeria also included setting up base of operations in Hassi-Messaoud, hiring local support staff, and obtaining necessary equipment, buildings, and supplies for the base of operations. Traveled between Calgary, Alberta and Hassi-Messaoud, Algeria regularly during contract commencement. After contract commencement was completed, maintained long-term residence in Algeria to supervise contract operations.
