President & CEO at VetOvation, Inc. For the past 18 years, Les worked to support the adoption of minimally invasive techniques and technology that have become the standard of care in human medicine. In the early 1990's during his time at Ethicon Endo-Surgery a Division of Johnson & Johnson Les helped to guide the adoption of laparoscopy for general surgery and gynecology. Following a successful 11 year career at Ethicon Les joined Intuitive Surgical the maker of the daVinci Surgical Robot. During his time at Intuitive Les helped introduce surgical robotics at 24 medical centers in the Southeast. His efforts working with the talented physicians at University of North Carolina Hospitals and Duke University Medical Center helped to develop minimally invasive robotic approaches to gynecologic oncology for endometrial staging and cervical cancer. His work also helped introduce robotics for bladder cancer and mitral valve repair. Following a success tenure at Intuitive Surgical Les went on to work with other small medical device companies to help with professional education, sales management and marketing.
