Served as the Senior DA Level Air Traffic Services Evaluator, responsible for the standardization, assessment, and training of all tactical and installation Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve (ATS) units worldwide; assist Army Commands with the implementation and maintenance of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ratings and certification programs; develops Terminal Instrument Approach Procedures (TERPS); assesses the overall readiness and effectiveness of the unit's Air Traffic Services programs and identifies existing or potential system defects for the unit commanders. Serves as the Operations NCOIC for an Assault Helicopter Battalion with an assigned strength of 25 personnel; provides technical and doctrinal advice to the S3 and BN Commander; assist the Shift director with rehearsals and execution of actual battle drills; responsible for the supervision of 6 subordinate Noncommissioned Officers and 3 enlisted Soldiers; Assist and supervises the Aviation Plans Sections in Military Decision Making Process (MDMP); prepares the Command Post for orders, drills, briefs, and rehearsals; receives and appropriately handles and distributes FRAGOs’ Red Cross messages and Serious Incident Reports (SIRs); supervises and ensures the commanders update briefing (CUB) is rehearsed and allocates time to the commander(s) and staff.
