Major Les Schroeder is currently the International Officer School (IOS) Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) School Preparatory Course Director. He is responsible for the integration, guidance, management, and supervision of curriculum requirements for international officer programs. Directs all aspects of annual, 7-week ACSC Preparatory Course for up to 80 International Officers annually. Teaches leadership, military studies, and communication techniques in seminar and auditorium settings for nearly 220 select officers, lieutenant to general, from 75 countries, attending AU PME schools annually. Leads 3 seminars of 12 Company Grade IOs bound for Squadron Officer School (SOS). Enhances student comprehension of English and computer skills. Ensures students acquire an understanding of American culture, institutions and ideals while strengthening international relations. Augments International Officer School operations personnel at graduation/social events, during Informational Program (IP) trips, and in day-to-day duties.
