(surface and underground);• Witness and monitor all critical operations around and on the drill rigs;• Ensure compliance with and implementation of HSE policies and procedures;• Compile and correlate all HSE reports and files them with the appropriate authorities, including the weekly HSE report on the Drill rigs, monthly reports, • Promote safety consciousness on the part of all workers, both employees and contracted workers;• Coordinate safety courses for workers, as well as organising campaigns to motivate workers to use safe behavior on the drill rigs;• Responsible for safety inspections of drill rigs, looking for any deficiencies in documentation, equipment or facilities;• Conduct safety audits and oversees correction of safety-related problems;• Interface with clients / customers to make sure DDH1 drilling meet all safety requirements;• Correcting any and unsafe practices;• Responsible for emergency planning and implementation;• Develop programs to minimise any losses on the job;• Responsible for writing reports on any accidents or safety / environmental related incidents and recommendations on how to prevent such accidents from occurring again.

Charters Towers

• Report directly to the Site Senior Executive all safety concern and incidents including near misses and provide technical advice;• Provide expert OHSE technical advice and support to employees, contractors and stakeholders to manage and resolve safety issues, for example in regard to dangerous goods, hazardous substances, noise, confined space entry, machine guarding, traffic management, height safety, occupational hygiene, ergonomics, etc.;• Compile monthly, half yearly and annual OHSE Reports;• To provide pre-hospital care (EMT) for employees in case of a critical incident;• Conduct compliance audits and monitor operational activities to ensure Citigold HSEQ management systems are being followed across the organisation, document findings from audits in an audit report;• To manage workers in regards to the worker’s compensation and rehabilitation legislation;• Participate in implementation of Citigolds Emergency Response Plan;• Enter incidents, hazards, job safety observations and other data into Excel and provide root cause analysis;• Assist in all aspects of programs / projects in underground and surface mining areas.• Monitor HSE internal and external websites and other distributed information to ensure information is current and relevant;• Respond to workplace incidents at short notice;• Play a lead role in incident investigation and reporting including: information gathering, facilitation of workshops and preparation of formal report with recommendations;• Assist and deliver training of staff in accordance with Citigolds OHSE training plan including developing training packages;• Provide mentoring and support to supervisors and team leaders in relation to safety matters;• Work closely with Citigold Department Managers to avoid cross-over and ensure an efficient and effective operation;• Delivery of Citigolds environmental monitoring programs and to make sure Citigold is staying compliant with the Environmental Authority,
