I am passionate about advocating for and working with students with special needs. I have been in education for 27 years and am currently looking for an advancement in my career outside of the classroom. I have experience working with all levels of disabilities, writing and implementing IEPs, and performing evaluations. I also have taught English and co-taught many courses.I started my career in the school district in which I attended. We then relocated to Florida and there I gained experience in the standardized testing sector as the Testing Coordinator at a school of nearly 2000 students. I had a 99% test rate which means 99% of our students completed the necessary assessments. I also worked as an Academic Support Liaison which allowed me to identify at-risk students and implement a plan of success.I am at a point that I want to work outside of the classroom and have the opportunity to share my expertise with others.
