With a full career of Sales and Business Development, I took some much-needed time last year to move my family, settle into a new community, network within the technology sales community, perform some part-time sales consulting with existing business contacts, and coach my kids sports teams.I also had the opportunity to enrich my growing knowledge base in my areas of interest: Unified Communications, Rich Media Applications, Leveraging the internet to fix business problems through the new trends in application development across all technology platforms (i.e. mobility across all devices).In addition, I took a series of assessments in order to hone in on specific areas of improvement, and was glad to see the validation of some very critical skills needed for technology sales, new business development, client success factors, and team collaboration.
