Les Ditson is a highly creative leader and educator, backed by a wealth of life experience which includes international touring as a professional dancer, founding of a private school, faculty and research positions at major universities, and awards for teaching excellence. He holds a PhD in Education, with emphases on Learning Theory, Curriculum Development and Educational Evaluation. He founded and directed Emerald Valley School, in Eugene, Oregon (a publicly funded K 12 private school dedicated to student empowerment through a fully democratic model), and Impulse!, a dance company focused exclusively on audience-inclusion improvisation performance. Les has worked with diverse populations, including at-risk youth, Native American youth leaders, alter-abled populations, across all age groups.
