Les Edwards is VP Production Control and Technical Services at Rain Carbon and an experienced executive level manager and influential global leader in his field of expertise. He has a proven track record of technology development and implementation and a long history of collaborative work with customers. He has wide-ranging leadership experience in the areas of operations, commercial support, R&D, process development and IP management. Les has published more than 30 technical papers and 6 patents and received five best paper awards. He has a detailed knowledge of carbon and other materials and broad experience in aluminum and anode production. He is a regular presenter and organizer at industry conferences and recently organized and chaired a special keynote session on Sustainability in the Aluminum Supply Chain. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Western Australia and an MBA from Tulane University in New Orleans.
