At Computing For All, our mission of making technology education equitable and accessible has been my driving force for over five years. My role as Education and Outreach Director has allowed me to lead by leveraging my expertise in nonprofit leadership and digital media education. With a focus on inclusive hands-on project-based pedagogy, our team has empowered a diverse population through innovative software development and IT pre-apprenticeship programs.Previously, at RecTech Community Technology Labs, I played a pivotal role in shaping inclusive digital literacy initiatives within the City of Seattle Parks community CS education programming. Harnessing my skills in curriculum design and teaching project-based classes, we launched career awareness programs that nurtured talents in digital literacy and media. We championed digital equity and community enrichment through technology, setting the stage for lifelong learning and career development in the digital age.
