As a web developer for Media Two Interactive my job is to ensure that web site designs get coded to the latest web standards and industry best practices. Since I have a strong foundation in design I also make sure that the site design and architecture can effectively achieve the client's goals all while providing a great user experience for the target audience.Having worked in both digital and print mediums, I can comfortably jump into any design project and craft a thoughtful solution that's backed by years of experience.

McClatchy Interactive is the digital wing of McClatchy newspapers, one of the largest newspaper corporations in the United States. Initially brought on board to design banner advertising my role soon expanded to creating multimedia pieces for the national newsroom. I also got involved in projects to redesign the company’s proprietary CMS and eventually became the lead designer of a massive project to re-architect the front end design of every McClatchy newspaper’s website.I credit McClatchy Interactive for pushing my technical abilities further than I ever thought possible. Learning how to design web sites on an enterprise level was an invaluable experience that has changed the course of my career and undoubtedly taken it to the next level.

Neighborhood Media provided a bundled media package targeted towards small business owners. The package included ad space and an article in the Neighborhood Media magazine Neighborhood Exclusive. The magazine was mailed directly to homes and distributed through local stores and businesses. The package also included ad space on the Neighborhood Media website and television commercials. As art director I was in charge of the following:• Crafting the company image, promotional materials and sales presentations • Design, layout and pre-production of the magazine Neighborhood Exclusive • Design of client advertisements • Management of the company website and online client ads and profiles

ABM Marketing mass produced websites targeted for specific online traffic. As the sole web/graphic designer I was responsible for creating on average 3 websites a day, each hand made with an original design and optimized for search engines.• Solely in charge of designing over 300 original brochure style websites • Maintained a high level of quality and output with little supervision • Meet every monthly quota deadline with time to spare

Advanced Barrier Concepts, Inc. (ABC) is a small engineering firm that provides consulting services to pharmaceutical companies worldwide. ABC brought me on board initially to maintain their web site. Since my start there, my responsibilities broadened to:• Redesigning segments of the web site and implementing new features • Taking over the company's contact database management and mass mailing campaigns • Graphic design work and technical drawings for presentations and brochures

During my time at the YMCA I worked with several of their programs as a youth counselor. I was promoted to leadership positions that included Head Counselor and Programming Director for the two largest summer camps at the Cary branch. The YMCA provided me leadership skills that I have used throughout my career and gave me a solid foundation on how to work in a team environment.
