Co-founded a beverage brand with zero experience. Deeply interested in investing and tech. Avid reader & Future VC. My story:In high school, I discovered the world of investing through Forex trading. I took a course in Birmingham and was determined to master the world's currencies. However, as a trader, it is not very beneficial to enjoy the thrill itself so much and buying a few Japanese Yen doesn't add much value to the world except for increasing volume.So I kept on searching for the kind of investor I wanted to become. The book "The Snowball" about the life of Warren Buffet completely blew my mind. Berkshire Hathaway is an astonishing conglomerate and I like the fact Mr. Buffet built it from scratch. However, the slow pace in building a company like Berkshire didn't excite me.Then, I discovered Venture Capital and startups through Spotify. Since 2014, I have been an avid user of Spotify and was sure that this app was going to be used all around the world by many people. This led me to think about the huge returns one would get from investing in something like Spotify and a quick Google search learned me that I was thinking about Venture Capital. It ticked all my boxes. I have been involved with technology since I was a kid and taught my 50-year-old uncle how to download movies on The Pirate Bay - for which, I am incredibly sorry by the way - and fascinated by seeing how technology works on the show How it's made. Also, I find it incredibly exciting to work on the future and changing the world. Add the fast pace and high returns and I knew this was for me.After interacting with some founders, while working at an accelerator program, I asked myself the question; If you are passionate about helping people build great companies, why don't you create such a company yourself? That led me to these career goals: Becoming an entrepreneur and helping others build great companies as a Venture Capitalist.Fast forward two years and here I am trying to change the beverage industry one drink at a time with Silver Ocean Seltzer. Co-founded with two childhood friends from a garage, we started our journey. This leads me to my next chapter, landing a role in VC. I went trough the struggles of being an entrepreneur first hand, made all the mistakes one could make and learned a ton.
