On setting up LDM, it was Lesley’s ambition to create an agency which took an integrated approach to Marketing, PR and Events. She has worked with clients on major projects, including corporate events for BP, Endeavour and EnQuest, and Stewart Milne’s sponsorship and seminar at the Ideal Home Show in London. However, she has also been keen to support social enterprises, undertaking marketing and PR for Aberdeenshire Housing Partnership and the North East Work Skills Project. She continues to work closely with the North East Scotland Preservation Trust, a charitable organisation which restores historic buildings across the North East for the social and economic benefit of the community. In 2012 LDM launched Wild About Events @ Lesley Davidson Marketing, to raise the profile of the company’s event management division. Under this banner LDM undertook the organisation of the lavish 2012 Monty’s Maggie’s Appeal Gala Dinner and a circus-themed family fun day for 500 people at a National Trust property in 2013.LDM also supports oil and gas firms of all sizes, including EnQuest, Sonomatic and Subsea Technologies Ltd, using a tried and tested method of working as an extension of the client’s business. This ensures that every client receives the right balance of services to meet their needs.Customers benefit from LDM’s marketing and PR expertise when Lesley and her team undertake their events. Some require a full marketing service, which encompasses all three of LDM’s core offerings. Newer businesses, such as Subsea Technologies Ltd (STL), utilise LDM’s PR capabilities to make a big impact in the industry. In 2013, STL was named winner of both the New Enterprise Award at Subsea 2013 and the Grampian Award for Innovation at the ENET Awards.
