I don't have as much experience as I would like, I have been an independent computer repair technician from the day I left Dial-A-Geek. I continued to do this, even if I was also employed with other jobs, I would never let it over take my other work. I have experience with DOS still currently used as the command prompt of any Windows computer, and I can find and use admin tools on nearly any Windows computer. I started using DOS as a kid so most of my experience with it is as a standard user, but I know how to find the commands I need, and learned the more subtle details through my other training.I am better with replacement and troubleshooting hardware than I am with Software, and still have some old trouble shooting software that isn't compatible with modern computers, do wish to get replacements for it. I understand cleaning practices for both hardware and software, the info I have is out of date, but I am aware of a few of the hiding spots in a windows environment.My weakness would likely be I am stilted towards Microsoft products.
