These interventions increased the homebirth rate ensuring that the Trust's CQUIN targets were exceeded.• Introduced triage service specifically to increase the number of deliveries on the Malden suite (Midwifery led unit). Successfully exceeding targets by reaching 25% of all deliveries taking place on the Malden Suite.• Created the VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean section) and care plan clinic, seeing women required individual care plans ensuring that they had informed choices and supported them in their decisions.• Named midwife for safeguarding, sitting on the Trust's safeguarding committee, the sector safeguarding forum and the LSCB.• Co-ordinated the review, design and introduction of the new maternity health records working closely with the NHSLA and Maternity Standards Advisors to ensure that the health records would enable the service to attain CNST level 2.
