Experienced, inspiring education professional, with a track record of excellent learning and teaching, through employment as a primary teacher and school improvement professional. Lesley possesses a detailed knowledge of teaching and learning across both Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2. Lesley initially left the classroom to extend her professional practice, leadership and management skills through Welsh Government's PE and School Sport (PESS) initiative. Lesley worked in this role for Central South Consortium Joint Education Service (CSCJES) up until returning to the classroom in 2014.During her time at CSCJES, Lesley supported education professionals as both a tutor and mentor, developing literacy and numeracy, raising standards in PE, and identifying good practice case studies across the region. Lesley has previously held teaching posts at Herbert Thompson, Cadoxton, High Street and Barry Island Primary Schools.She remains an advocate of Physical Literacy and the Creative Curriculum.
