Throughout my career I have worked as an HR Business Partner in a wide variety of businesses and educational environments. My varied and broad experience has been gained in a range of HR roles including HR generalist, resourcing and talent management, reward and strategy development.Currently I am the HR Business Partner for all the professional service departments within the University. My team and I provide full operational HR support for over 2,500 staff employed in a broad range of professional disciplines including finance, IS, marketing, estates, commercial and employability. We provide advice and support on all change programmes, resourcing, management development, employee engagement and employee relations.Employing over 3,000 staff, Nottingham Trent University is one of the biggest recruiters in the East Midlands. £350 million has recently been invested across all three campuses to create inspiring learning environments. NTU is known for its excellent student employability rate.In my current role, from time to time, I recruit managers and heads of department in finance, marketing, purchasing, academic development and quality, estates, employability, libraries and student support services.
