At WordsWorth SLP, I specialize in dyslexia and related language-learning disabilities, including executive function. I provide comprehensive assessments designed to inform an accurate diagnosis, develop focused interventions, and identify appropriate accommodations and modifications.

At O.T. PLUS I specialize in working with people who have experienced mild, moderate or severe brain injury. O.T. PLUS is a multidisciplinary practice that supports clients with physical, occupational and speech therapies. I work with clients in our offices or in their homes and communities. My goal is to provide cognitive compensatory strategies to improve function and help to increase independence. I provide assessment and treatment interventions for disorders of speech, language, swallowing, and cognition. I assist clients with cognitive aspects of communication including attention, memory, problem-solving, and executive functions. Treatment addresses expressive speech and language challenges including: aphasia, articulation, phonation, word retrieval, fluency, functional communication, and alternative communication for non-verbal clients. Additionally, I am certified in LSVT LOUD™, (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) a research-based exercise approach designed to assist people with Parkinson's disease and other neurologic disorders.

Responsible for evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with special needs including articulatory, linguistic, literacy, social, and cognitive deficits.

Inpatient and outpatient assessment and rehabilitation of a range of cognitive, linguistic, motor speech, swallowing, and voice disorders, caused by a range of etiologies, including TBI, CVA, & Parkinson’s.

Language Learning Diagnostic Team: •Evaluated children and adolescents with language learning disorders including dyslexia, expressive and receptive oral language disorders, dysgraphia, and cognitive impairments. Adult Neurogenic Disorders Diagnostic Team: •Assessed a range of adults with neurogenic disorders resultant from Parkinson’s, stroke, and TBI.Stuttering Diagnostic Team: •Evaluated children and adolescents with a range of stuttering severity.Concussion Screening Team:•Evaluated cognitive performance of college athletes to establish baseline in the event of TBI.Individual and Group Treatment:•Provided treatment to a range of adult and child clients with literacy, language, cognition, motor speech and neurogenic voice disorders.Dysphagia offsite:Assisted in administering and reading of videofluoroscopic swallowing studies with a range of adult clients with dysphagia of varying severities and etiologies.The Stroke Support Group, offsite at The Medical Center of Aurora:•Planned and implemented expressive and receptive language activities and education.•Addressed emotional, cognitive and energy impacts for a large group of stroke survivors and their caregivers.
