TPS specialises in the design and manufacture of a wide range of electrical machines and power electronic products for several different applications within Energy, Industrial, Transportation and Defence markets. My main role is to collaborate with key stake holders within TPS to implement and execute the bid plan, costing and price reviewing all bids. I prepare the commercial and technical proposal documents for client submission. I maintain the bid library, prepare professional bid documents and administration of Salesforce to log all bids. I follow up on outstanding quotations to check status. I also complete any PQQ’s as requested by the client.

At the point of leaving CTD I had almost 16 years continuous service:May 2005 – August 2008, Product and Pricing AssistantI worked as a Product and Pricing Assistant for the UK’s largest importer of ceramic tiles who also form part of the building distribution sector of the French based company Saint-Gobain. I used complex excel spreadsheets to price new stock lines accurately to maximise profit margin.I was also heavily involved in the implementation and evaluation of the company electronic price file (Kerridge) which involved working with the Business Development Manager and Product and Pricing Manager to develop a strategic roll out plan to ensure all of the business was uploaded onto the system effectively. I also worked with the service provider to confirm all end users had sufficient knowledge to navigate the system. I ensured data held within the business was suitable and prepared for system migration. I then worked with the central IT department to ensure all the data was uploaded in a timely and effective manner.
