SignalPath was acquired by Verily to be the site Clinical Trial Management System provider and network for their Clinical Research portfolio. Verily's mission is to bring the promise of precision health to everyone and at the forefront of integrating clinical research with patient care at Verily Life Sciences, my focus is on advancing precision health through innovative product strategy and development. With a rich background in product management, I am developing tools that enhance the clinical trial process and patient-provider relationships, particularly for Diabetes and Cardiometabolic solutions.

SignalPath's software application supports clinical research sites by dramatically improving the ease and efficiency of trial execution. Built by researchers for researchers, the platform is designed to be used at the point of care, enabling clinical research teams to focus on their patients while optimizing their research goals. As VP, Product I was accountable for the strategic growth of the SignalPath Software Solution to ensure it addresses many of the problems facing clinical research sites, medical centers and health systems. Key member of the Executive Leadership team that grew the company from a start-up to a growth phase scaling the Customer base from single digits to 60+ and the number of clinical trials managed to 2000+. Matured the product development process driving scalable, rapid software engineering to produce a higher quality software.

Responsible for driving the strategy and growth of Cotiviti's (formerly Verscend) Revenue product vertical that included Risk Adjustment, Clinical Chart Validation for inpatient DRGs and Fraud, Waste & Abuse solutions. Ownership and accountability for the Revenue product vision, new feature and function development based on balanced need of health insurance customers and government & regulatory forces packaging and market impact. Matured and grew the Product team instilling best practices for software development including the governance of external Product Advisory Councils and timely tracking of the shifting Risk Adjustment and FWA landscapes.

Wellable's wellness technology platform combines mobile apps, wearable devices, web tools, text messaging and traditional wellness services to deliver robust, highly effective wellness programs. The Wellable platform makes it easy for employees to track their healthy behavior, earn rewards, compete in friendly competitions and share their success with their social network. Wellable seamlessly integrates with popular and engaging apps that employees already know and use such as FitBit, Moves, RunKeeper, FatSecret and many more, and takes care of all the heavy lifting for internal resources so they can focus on their day job.Advised the Wellable team on their business strategy and market potential as well as participating in key investor discussions.

Accountable for the oversight and guidance of Halfpenny Technolgies product portfolio strategy, product life-cycle management and new solution development. Halfpenny Technologies provides health plans, clinical labs, hospitals, ACOs, and EHR vendors with a cloud-based, secure, scalable and vendor-neutral clinical data exchange platform designed to optimize patient care coordination while reducing waste. Created best practices and processes to ensure appropriate guidance of the company’s product strategy, product management and new solution development including creation and governance of a Product Council and a Customer Advisory Group to ensure that the performance of all products and solutions met customer needs and the company’s revenue forecast and goals.

Accountable for the overall quality, delivery and support of all software products in the TriZetto Care Management portfolio. This included the Care Advance Platform, Care Advance Provider, Clinical Content, Clinical Analytic s and Values Based Benefits solutions. Major responsibilities included:1. Oversight of the Care Management Product strategy and roadmap execution including development of new solutions and integrated products including liaison with payer & provider clients2. Guidance of the Product Technical direction as well as the build and development of software using an iterative and incremental Agile software development methodology.3. Financial management and staff development of TriZetto’s Care Product and Development Teams including more than 150 skilled Product Managers, Agile Developers and Quality Testing personnel, located both onshore in Boston as well as offshore in Eastern Europe.4. Management of the budget and capital expenditure for Care Management Product Suite based on balanced need of customers, the market and industry regulations.5. Management of Care Product Application Support team responsible for Tier 1 and Tier 2 software solution support.6. Executive Officer for the TriZetto Boston Office.

Accountable for all aspects of product strategy, development & management for Alere Health. This involved technology enabled services and solutions focusing on providing Wellness, Disease Management, Case Management and Maternal-Newborn services.Major responsibilties include:1. Financial management of budget and capital expenditure for development and launch of new products & solutions2. Management of Alere Health's Product Team which included 26 skilled product management professionals with an array of experience in Health Management solutions3. Governance of Product Council and execution of Product Roadmap for the Alere Health4. Determination of product direction and priorities based on balanced needs of payer customers, market forces, sales team, and company business goals

Major stakeholder in the development, implementation and launch of Apollo - Alere Health's Participant Clincal Platform and Health Portal. Focus included detailed product and program gap analysis and data mapping as legacy clinical systems were migrated to the new Apollo system.Overall management of Disease Management Product team to ensure appropriate business cases, technical requirements, test & use cases were produced and reviewed with the Technology Solutions team.Key member of Sales Pursuit team as it pertained to DM Product discussions and future solution direction.

As Director of Cell Biology at Galileo my major responsibilities included:1. Coordination and testing of the companies new compound libraries, both synthetic & naturally derived, using high throughput robotic systems for the identification & optimization of lead drug candidates2. Development of new cellular screening assays centered around Galileo's proprietary technology platform and the validation of these assays with disease specific in vivo testing models3. Design & creation of Galileo's cell culture facility and high throughput screening labs for use of cell lines and primary isolated cells4. Implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control for all cell culture & screening assay protocolsResearch work resulted in the issue of 10 US patents on novel compounds & formulations and 1 publication in a peer reviewed science journal

Worked as Scientist in the Cardiovascular Reseach group. Major projects included identification and characterization of novel drug targets for Cardiovascular Disease and Congestive Heart Failure. Techniques used included differential display, full length cDNA cloning, maintenance of primary cardiac cells in long term culture and transient gene expression, construction of recombinant adenovirus vectors and creation of cDNA libraries.Research resulted in two (2) publications in peer reviewed science journals.
