I have been involved in franchise recruitment and franchise business sales for over 25 years, specialising in professional service franchises, such as business coaching, mortgage broking and consulting franchises. My extensive experience in the finance industry had mortgage brokers receiving more for their businesses – by not only looking at the multiple trails of income, but through profit of the business. My introduction to franchise recruitment was with a business coaching company where I recruited new franchisees throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. In 2001, I commenced working with RAMS Home Loans and was initially employed to assist in the development of their franchise model. By 2003, I was appointed National Franchise Relationship Manager. I then worked for Mortgage Choice for 5 years as the Franchise Recruitment Manager on a national level. This involved the sales of new franchises as well as existing businesses. After I left Mortgage Choice, I obtained my business broking licence before joining BCI Business Brokers. I concentrated on mortgage broking and selling financial planning businesses, and I achieved sales prices for these business that were well above industry standard.I was then enlisted to recruit new franchisees for Expense Reduction Analysts in Australia and South-East Asia. Expense Reduction Analysts is an established global franchise, operating in over 25 countries and with over 650 consulting franchisees helping their clients find extra profit in their businesses.
