Helping three communities in San Diego such as El Cajon, National City and San Diego. I help over 1,000 residents strive for success in their personal life and educate them of the many resources our organization and government has to offer in their time of need.This opportunity has led me to become aware of social issues happening in San Diego.

I was given the leadership role for the associated student organization for outreach at Southwestern College. I was able to collaborate with the president and vice president of ASO. My role was to lead my outreach team to make goals and events for incoming Southwestern College Students. I was able to follow through with making two events in my short time as Vice President. I was also part of the Hiring Committee for SWC professors and teachers.

California Director for Miss Teen Universe, an universal pageant. I was honored this position from Teen Universe USA. I worked with more than 50 girls. I formulated events, photo shoots and directed pageant talent. I set goals for the organization and achieved. I was able to host many events in Chula Vista. This led me to create and advertise my own plans for California pageant and even meet Mr. Pageant Planet himself Steven Roddy. I also gained popularity to the pageant and event itself from different companies and magazine articles. I geared 15 different sponsors to the event that I was able to promote and introduce.

Directing and managing teen girls into an international pageant. Sent five girls to compete nationally for the Teen USA pageant. Girls from California were sent to me to participate in my event to be crowned and to eventually move forward to nationals. The pageant I directed was held at The Lafayette hotel, I managed the budget plan, sponsors, activities, photo shoots, marketing and the pageant itself. At the young age of 22 I was able to produce a pageant that not many people at this age can say they have. I was able to improve Facebook posts and pioneer videos for pageant.

Modeling and Pageant Instructor. I worked with all ages implementing modeling instructions, mock interviews for pageants, etiquette and marketing for the school of talent. This led me to create a safe space for the youth helping them overcome their fear of speaking and turning it into confidence and passion. Instructed over 100 students. Many of the students won several pageant titles and begun their work in the media because of our instruction and this talent school. I also gave modeling and pageant classes in Spanish making it a diverse environment .This role gave me the opportunity to get known in the community of Chula Vista, network with various companies and be part of different media events from Los Angeles, Tijuana, and San Diego.

I won the title of Miss Latina USA at 20 years old. I was able to compete internationally against other countries. This allowed me to learn more about other cultures, mannerisms and politics. I was able to go on TV be interviewed and represent my heritage at an international level. Winning this title gave me the opportunity to network with a lot of important people from Mexico, Spain, and Botswana Africa.

Was able to collaborate with main producers at Univision and gained skills from inside the 11pm news room. This allowed me to network with important producers and further my career in the media.
