I am a Durham College graduate with a diploma in Police Foundations and a graduate certificate in Advanced Law Enforcement and Investigations. I have also completed Part I - Municipal Law Enforcement Foundations course, and Part II - Advanced Municipal Law Enforcement course from the Municipal Law Enforcement Officer’s Association of Ontario. In addition, I have completed Part One and Part Two of OAPSO's (Ontario Association of Property Standard's Officers) Multi-Stage Training. As an advocate for lifelong learning, and in order to increase my knowledge and expertise, I am currently working towards a combined Bachelor of Arts in Policing and Criminology degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. As a part-time student, I demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills in order to balance work and online courses successfully. I am a team player that brings both a positive and professional attitude to the workplace. I have been recognized for my ability to work a flexible schedule and for my willingness to respond outside of regular working hours. I am experienced working independently and under minimal supervision while effectively contributing to the overall goals of the organization - as a result I have developed excellent time-management, observational, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills.
