When you reach your senior years, you have earned the right to sit back and relax. But when you find that you need to move, that relaxation can quickly disappear. It is for this reason I have developed a concerted, coordinated program for seniors who are moving – whether it’s into a retirement community, simple downsizing, moving in with family, or any other option available (and there are many!). Moving can be stressful, and with my wonderful network of experts, together we find the right place for you to be. And because family is always involved in a real estate transaction, I focus a lot of attention on ensuring that every participant, from any generation, feels involved and informed. At the end of the day, my clients want to ensure that they are making the right choice for them and their family.I come by this process honestly. I am also in my “golden years”, and enjoy relaxing and spending time with family. Growing up in England, my family moved many, many times and so the experience is practically in my blood. After moving to Canada in 1967 and raising my children, it was not a stretch for me to get into the real estate industry. Personally, I love to laugh, because it makes every situation so much more enjoyable. So be careful – it’s a dry English sense of humour, too!And so now I work with people who want a straight answer, but with some fun thrown in. Moving is hard, but it doesn’t have to be stressful, and it’s for this reason that I designed my program to help seniors move and settle comfortably into their new home.
