-Manage a series of townhomes and traditional style student residences, totaling a maximum of 910 first year students, while supervising up to 4 Para-professional staff, 34 Student Staff, 8 Peer Mentors and 1 Community Assistant- Establish and review job descriptions, recruitment, hiring and evaluation of residence staff, peer mentors and Volunteers- Organize and implement a five-week residence staff training program, based upon the theories and practices of Student Development Theory, Customer Service, Residence Educational Plan and the Campus Wide Co-Curriculum -Meet with students to discuss conduct that contravened the Residence Community Standards; focused sanctions on learning opportunities and conflict mediation within a restorative justice framework-Participate in a 24-hour/7 day on-call crisis response management schedule, responsible for 2400 students-Oversee faculty-focused and interest-based Living Learning Communities, and assist students with Faculty, Staff and community partners connections within Niagara.
